The Classic build has the old no longer developed MFC based UI, hence it lacks support for modern features, these features can however still be used when manually configured in the Sandboxie.ini Whats different is the user interface the Plus build has a modern Qt based UI which supports all new features that have been added since the project went open source. Both have the same core components, this means they have the same level of security and compatibility. Sandboxie is available in two flavors Plus and Classic. Plus users may run Plus UI or Classic UI. SandboxieInstall (installer) installs core components to Sandboxie folder. Sandboxie-Plus (installer) installs shared core components to Sandboxie-Plus folder. Plus and Classic builds share core components. ![]() The used UI has no effect on security, compatibility or performance. Plus and Classic have the same core components this means ALL Security fixes as well as ALL Compatibility improvements always apply to both equally. If you have issues with an update installation, just uninstall the previous version keeping the Sandboxie.ini and reinstall the new build. Maybe, install glitch.maybe, settings glitch. ![]()
